ABOUT THIS EVENT
HUE TECH SUMMIT

Our mantra “No More Hidden Figures” exists because as we identify women who work hard behind the scenes, make major contributions in their field, or break barriers in the tech industry, we encourage them to come forth to be seen and heard. The summit will be hosted virtually on 5/6/2022.

Hue Tech Summit was the first conference I ever spoke at, and it set a high bar. I made so many real life friends through Hue, and it's one of the few conferences that every one, regardless if they are a veteran or just starting out, is accessible and feels like you were meant to be friends. Speaking at Hue helped open up more opportunities for me through the authentic and motivating people I met. To be a part of Hue is to be seen, valued, and embraced.

I'm used to going to even the most "diverse" tech summit and only finding black women who are, at most, tech-adjacent. This is not to dismiss those that choose that job, but to find a black female coder, developer, or systems engineer was far and few between. This summit had that in multitudes. Every story reflected an experience I had, and I was happy to share and hear all of them! Thank goodness for this conference, and I hope to see it next year with an even bigger presence (and more fiscal support)! For a second year, this was truly an impressive summit. Keep up the good work!

The HUETechSummit produced by Jumoke Dada is an uplifting and educational event for women of color who are budding entrepreneurs and in the startup phase. The quality of speakers and networking opportunities make this a not-to-miss annual event. Can't wait until next year
