Carmen Moreno Rivera is the President of Facilities Management Services, pbc in Louisville, KY, the largest, locally owned janitorial service provider in Kentucky.  Moreno-Rivera has over 18 years of unique management experience in such areas as transportation, logistics, aviation, and government. Her broad scope of work includes strategic planning, performance management and continuous improvement, systems design and talent acquisition, and operationalizing equity and inclusion in the workplace. Before her current role, Carmen served as Chief of Performance Improvement for Louisville Metro Government, focusing on large-scale strategy and projects in such areas as public safety, social justice, and equity. Prior to that, she spent over 14 years as an engineer at UPS supporting Ground, Flight, Aircraft Maintenance, Regulatory and Compliance and Safety. 

Carmen serves on the boards of the Louisville Metropolitan Sewer District (MSD), Kentucky Science Center, University of Louisville’s Organizational Leadership and Learning program. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, a Master of Science in Management from Indiana Wesleyan University, a Master’s Certificate in Business Analytics, a Six Sigma Green Belt Certification, a Core Consulting Skills Certification, and an Applied Project Management Certification. Currently, Carmen is a doctoral student at Spalding University pursuing a Doctor of Education in Leadership.
