Margot C. Goodson, CPA, CSSGB

North America Diversity & Inclusion Lead, SAP America, Inc.

Experienced professional with twenty-eight years of progressive knowledge and demonstrated
proficiency in finance/accounting functions, project management, Diversity & Inclusion, Employee
Satisfaction, and managerial leadership in various marketplaces. Now having her passion as her
profession, Margot am on a quest to make D&I our DNA at SAP!

As both an Entrepreneur for four years in the Accounting Consulting business and a Thought Leader
in corporate America, Margot has built an extensive portfolio of process improvement initiatives,
project management successes, and worked across industries, boundaries and SAP Board Areas with
roles in Business Operations, F&A, and most recently DBS. Additionally, prior roles as Assistant
Controller and Finance Manager at Quest Diagnostics, and principal roles at Republic National Bank
of NY (now HSBC) and Coopers & Lybrand (now PWC) has all prepared her with an insightful view
into various aspects of business and its impact on a company’s corporate culture.

As North America Diversity & Inclusion Lead, Margot is currently responsible for identifying,
planning, executing and monitoring the diversity activities related to supporting SAP America’s
corporate Diversity & Inclusion programs for all strategic focus areas, such as gender intelligence,
culture & identity, cross-generational, differently-abled individuals and veteran’s affairs for the NA
region. Margot previously led North America Finance Diversity Council where she collaborated with
other Finance colleagues to present Generational Intelligence training and a two-day Finance
Diversity & Development event. Additionally, she is a SAP Volunteer Ambassador, active member
of the Black Employee Network and a former member of the Extended Leadership Team for the
Business Women’s Network.

Margot is a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Accounts Payable Professional, is Six Sigma
Green Belt Certified and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Hampton University.
Additionally, Margot holds current and former memberships in numerous external professional and
social organizations including National Association for Female Executives, Pennsylvania Institute for
Certified Public Accountants, National Association of Black Accountants, Institute of Financial
Operations, plus service to the community via various nonprofit organizations.
