Brandi Rand is an advertising executive who thrives at the intersection of culture and consumer experience. In her role at Burrell Communications Group, one of the largest multicultural marketing firms in the world, she leads social media and influencer marketing for a top 10 global brand. In her 11+ years in marketing and advertising, Brandi has launched integrated campaigns for AT&T, Sally Beauty, Samsung, Uber and more. She has also partnered with major media outlets including Essence, The Grio, The Root and BET Networks, as well as major sports properties including The NFL, NCAA, PGA, MLS, and NBA. Her work can be seen on the social handles of some of the biggest names in sports and entertainment from Jerome Bettis, Jason Witten and Terrell Owens to Gabby Douglas, Jordan Spieth, and Anthony Anderson.
A dynamic speaker, trainer, and consultant, Brandi educates audiences on a range of topics including the power of social media, building a strong digital brand, how to partner with brands and creating authentic influence. She also leverages her big brand experience to help nonprofits and small business create success at the local level. As a passionate advocate for women, diversity, and social justice Brandi has lent her strategic expertise to M.O.B.B. (Mothers of Black Boys) United, currently serves as Communications Director for ColorComm (Dallas), a business community for women of color in the communications industry, and mentors up-and-coming leaders in marketing and advertising.
