Imani Grant is an inquisitive strategist with a penchant for everything food! She has used her solution-oriented thinking to advise fortune 50 companies, small businesses, and founders. Now, she enjoys contributing to the success of DoorDash as Senior Strategy and Operations Manager focused on special operations.

Following her passion for food and exploration, Imani founded two companies simultaneously – a B2B marketplace for produce (e.g. fruits and vegetables) buyers and sellers, and a lifestyle experiences company for Queer, Multicultural Womxn and non-binary individuals (The Weekend Soiree). Although she would not recommend starting two drastically different companies at once, she credits the culmination of her experiences for her career in tech, especially without having an engineering background.

Imani holds an MBA from Cornell University and a BA from Temple University. She is a proud alum of Management Leadership for Tomorrow MBAP ’10, MBA Jumpstart ‘10, and BIG’s Digital Undivided Incubator – Cohort 3. Forever a New Yorker, she currently resides in Atlanta where she enjoys barbecuing veggies in the winter and weekly poker with family and friends.
